The most unusual places on planet. Rio Tinto River in Spain

Rio Tinto — a river in the south-western part of Spain, originating in the mountains of Andalusia. Since ancient times, sections along the river have been used to extract copper, silver, gold and other minerals. As a result, many mines and quarry quarries were formed, and the river’s waters were painted dark red and saturated with acid and heavy metals

In the river, a lot of oxidizing iron and sulfur bacteria originated and it was their activity that caused such a deep color of water. Rio Tinto is home to thousands of other amazing bacteria and organisms.

The river aroused great scientific interest because of the activity of aerophobic extremophile bacteria rapidly multiplying in water. It is these forms of life that are believed to be the probable cause of a high acid content. Bacteria feed on iron and minerals, which are washed out of mines and in large quantities are kept on surface rocks along the river bed.

Hello! I — blogger, love of God and people. Beautiful pictures — it is certainly good and well, but we must remember that in front of us waiting for eternity and where we spend it, depends only on us!
Everyone in some sins, but the severity of this sin saved us JESUS CHRIST!
And if we repent of our sins and call upon his heart and Christ, we shall be saved from hell, which is prepared for the devil, but the devil does not want to go there himself and tempts people to sin. But God loves us, because he gave for us on the death of the most precious thing he had — his Son Jesus.
Pray a prayer: Heavenly Father! I ask you — I’m sorry, I repent of my sins, because I lived without you. Jesus Christ, come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior, make me be what You want me to. I thank thee that in eternity I will be with you! Amen.
